Africa, the Middle East, and Southern Asia have been, and still are, hot beds for political violence, protests, and riots. Are some countries more prone to political violence than others? Do these areas have more oppressive governments or are the civilians more unruly? In between 1997 and the present, when were these violent events more frequent?
